Special Causes – Special Marketing Campains
When it comes to being moved by images, whether by way of impacting visual work or by way of a special cause, we can assure you that Ricardo has created some incredibly moving visuals. He has worked with numerous causes and special events, for some, as a project manager and as director, for others as a pro photographer, designer, liaisons with print media and for most, as a corporate sponsor. One in particular is the Canadian Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Cops for Cancer, Candles on the Lawn and the complete production of their Volunteer Drivers campaign.
One full campaign Ricardo worked on was one directed towards generating attention towards the need for volunteer drivers. For this one, Ricardo developed a master concept for photo production, coordinated models, location and props with CCS, directed and executed the photo production, looked after the post-production phase which included photo selection of a series of four images, to be individually included in a Black & White advertisement design, to be run at four separate scheduled times. A prototype ad design was presented and approved, then presented to the publishing company, orchestrating the proofs and schedules required.
